Logan and Wylie met in High School while they were each at boarding school (all-girls and an all-boys that would pair up) and they are just so cute! I love high school sweethearts because I married mine too! Logan and Wylie have an ease about them that comes from growing up and through things together. They had a gorgeous uptown event full of celebration!
Wylie works on Logan’s family farm, completing their family in so many ways! Logan graduated while we were wedding planning and then basically went right back to school AND work – she is a busy lady! We had so much fun working together on their wedding.
Logan wanted the flowers to be the main event, as did her Dad, and I think we achieved the wow she was going for! She loves purple, so we played off a nod to the lavender side of purple, perfect for her spring wedding. She also made sure to make everything soft with touches of glamour and elegance, the perfect description of Logan herself! We selected purple sequin linens and candlelight only for the downstairs cocktail hour. Upstairs for the reception, we had a gorgeous head table with tall arrangements and mixed arrangements on the round tables surrounding it. We had a mix of tall lots of flowers, short compotes, and candelabras that helped to show off the beautiful space. For favors, Logan decided to give back to Haiti, a place where she has been on 4 mission trips.
Logan’s family owns lots of cattle so good beef from Queen City was a must! It was so delicious too, even when I was able to eat around 9 pm 😊 The wedding day was so magical and all of the guests kept saying how beautiful the reception space looked with everything. The cake was amazing and towering! The dance floor was packed the whole night and Wylie gave Logan a very special dance for the garter toss.
Logan and Wylie you two are the cutest and I am so excited for your future! I wish you all the best!!
