It’s time again to highlight another great vendor in the Charlotte area! Here at Magnificent Moments Weddings, we love nothing more than sharing these great vendors and the people who work there with you, our clients. This week’s vendor spotlight is on Grace Hill Photography and the amazing skills they have to offer!

Grace Hill Photography is owned and operated by Kelly Hill and she is simply put an amazing photographer with unbelievable skill. Her work is stunning and she manages to capture the most precious moments between couples. Plus she is such a sweet and down to earth person to work with. Since she is so amazing, I decided to sit down with Kelly, to get the skinny on all things Grace Hill Photography. Here is what she shared:
I usually shoot 10 – 12 weddings per year. I have two young children so family time is really important to me! I’m also a family photographer so between weddings, family sessions and corporate jobs, I stay busy.
I love it when couples add meaningful, personal touches to their wedding day. I think it’s so sweet when couples write their own vows and really show emotions and feelings throughout the day. I shot a wedding in Charleston where the couple let doves go at the ceremony and another couple had colorful confetti thrown at them walking down the aisle after they said: “I Do”. I can’t think of anything too “different” but the little personal touches really help make each wedding unique.
One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is connecting with other vendors on a wedding day and watching them work together to make the bride and groom’s wedding day vision come to life. There are some crazy, talented vendors in the wedding industry so it’s always nice to watch them work their magic throughout the day. From Make-up artists to florists, to wedding planners. They work for months with a couple learning about their dream wedding and then work together on the wedding day to make the couple’s vision come to life! I also really love getting to know my couples, learning about their love story and watching them let loose with their family and friends during the reception.
My best piece of advice to a newly engaged couple is to remember that you are planning this day for a marriage, not just a huge party. Your day will be beautiful because you’re marrying your best friend. Enjoy the day and don’t stress about the small things that won’t matter a year after your wedding day. Be patient, have fun, make it meaningful and just go with the flow. Also, make sure you love your vendors! Do your research, meet with them, talk with them, look at their websites, blogs and make sure you genuinely like these people and their work.
