As you think through your wedding appetizers, cocktails, main dish, and cake, there may be one more thing to consider. Wedding receptions are a party, and your guests may need a little boost of energy as you dance the night away in celebration – enter Late Night Snacks!
These small bites are often the perfect tasty treat to keep the guests going! And we here at Magnificent Moments Weddings love treating our guests with them late in the evening! They are typically brought out during the dancing or towards the end of the night, and can even double as an edible wedding favor.
Want to add a little late-night pick me up to your reception? Here are some of our favorites:
Coffee or Hot Cocoa and Donuts

The perfect treat for a cold-weather wedding. You might even consider having “his and hers” donuts with the bride and groom’s favorite donut flavors. Magnificent Moments bride Kathryn went classic with everyone’s favorite donut, Krispy Kreme for her big day!
Hot Dog Bar

Line up hot dogs and the works to put on top! Ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions, chili..guests can make it as simple or extravagant as they’d like. Our international bride Lauren included two versions for her wedding at The Duke Mansion, Danish and American, and boy were they a huge hit!
Mac-n-Cheese

Doesn’t that just scream comfort food? Our beautiful bride Anastasia chose to go with these mouthwatering mini dishes as her late-night snack and they did not disappoint!
Popcicles

A cool frozen treat is perfect for a warmer wedding. Bride Katherine chose King of Pops, a local Charlotte popsicle company, for her summer wedding. They bring out the most adorable cart that will come right to you, full of sweet treats for all your guests!
This fun trend is one of our favorites because it is a great way to add another personal touch to your big day and to show your guests your appreciation for sharing on your big day! The opportunities are endless!
