Jessica and Scott married in late spring at The Brakefield at Riverwalk in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This amazing couple met on Bumble and we are so glad they did. The love they have for each other and their soon to arrive baby girl was in every detail of their sweet river wedding event. Jessica was hands-on and added so many creative touches to the event. It was truly one to remember.

The couple married in an intimate ceremony on the grounds of Breakfield at Riverwalk. With the Catawba River as their backdrop, the couple exchanged vows while their closest friends and family watched. Guests encircled the couple as they lit a unity candle to signify the joining as one. And there was not a dry eye in the house as they exited their ceremony through a sea of rose petals.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. Friends and family mingled while sipping drinks and overlooking the river, making this river wedding one to remember. It was nice to see Jessica and Scott’s families talking and discussing as one, it is one of my favorite parts of weddings, seeing two families unite and become one.

Following cocktail hour guests were welcomed into the reception space. Jessica chose a fairly neutral palette of gold and white. The stunning floral centerpieces were created by her and her family and would serve double duty at her baby shower the next day, how cool is that! Guests enjoyed amazing bbq from The Dixie Pig. The buffet even included peanut butter pie and banana pudding, a perfect nod to the south, and it was as delicious as it looked! A fun photo booth allowed guests to pose for the couple in what I am sure will be a treasured book. And the DJ kept the dance floor packed as guests danced the night away!.

As the night ended the couple left together to start a new chapter not only as husband and wife but mom and dad to their soon to arrive baby girl! Talk about a day filled with love!
