Jessica and Andrew met on a blind date set up by her boss! I would say that was a successful date! They are both from Charlotte, and actually lived within 10 miles of each other in Charlotte, but didn’t know each other. They also moved all around the country for schools and jobs, and once again lived within 10 miles of each other, but never met. The blind date was fate.
Jessica was so great to work with! She had one major request- her mini Labradoodle, Auggie, be able to attend photos after the ceremony. I recommended Barks and Blooms and you can see how cute Auggie was! Jessica wanted a simple and elegant wedding. She hired Brittni on our team to do the flowers and decided to do elements of blue throughout. The result was stunning! I think it was everything Jessica imagined and more – the room looked so great with all of the candlelight too!
Their friends and family surrounded them and everyone had such a great time! (They didn’t even want to leave at the end of the night!). Something Classic served plated meals and everything was perfect. Hipshack had the dance floor going and the night was actually cool in July! Everyone went outside on the terrace for a little bit to enjoy, including me.
The wedding day was so relaxed and calm, and you can really tell that Jessica and Andrew had thought about each guest that was in attendance. They had thank you cards at each place setting and made sure to talk to as many of their friends and family as they could. You could feel all of the happiness and love in the room.
Jessica and Andrew, I wish you all the best!!
XOXO,
Amanda
