Mint Museum Uptown Family Affair Wedding
Kate and Marques’s families are the nicest, most real, and down-to-earth people we have met. Kate wanted a beautiful wedding that was completely focused on the people involved: their families and friends.
Their wedding was held on Mother’s Day, with sweet remembrances to Kate’s grandmother who passed a few months earlier. Demi, Kate and Marques’s daughter is so opinionated and it was refreshing to see all of the family allow her to be who she really is – a tomboy at heart who loves her daddy 🙂 Kate’s dress was beautiful and her sisters and her Mom had a great time getting ready together. They each picked their own dresses to show off their unique style and they looked great together.
From the beautiful cellist, Jill Fung, whose son who joined her to play and is good friends with the groom, the flowers which were all done by the bride’s aunt, to the DJ who is also a close friend, the special music by the bride’s brother and sister, and even to the band setup for the groom’s band to play later in the night, this wedding was truly and friends and family special event. Kate and Marques are incredibly lucky to have such talented friends and family to share their wedding day memories with for years to come.
Kate and Marques, thank you for allowing me to witness what it truly means to join two families together.
XOXO,
Amanda
