2018 has finally arrived and we here at Magnificent Moments Weddings can’t wait to see what it has in store, for us as Charlotte Wedding Planners! However, this new year has us reminiscing about 2017, the brides we met, the things we learned, and the experiences we shared.
In 2017, we worked with 24 amazing brides! That’s 24 gorgeous dresses bustled, 48 champagne flutes filled, 72 speeches made, and hundreds of sparklers lit!
We also learned so much! Amanda was able to travel to Wedding Wire World in Washington, D.C. with the ladies from Ritchie Hill, Avonne Photography, Mint to Be, and Separk Mansion, and Wedding MBA in Las Vegas, with Laura from The Duke Mansion, the Separk ladies, and a few others, where she learned more about the ends and outs of wedding planning and gained great insights and ideas to offer our future clients (she really has some great ideas up her sleeve!) as Charlotte Wedding Planners.
Plus the team was able to help facilitate beautifully styled shoots where we got to flex our creative muscles. Just look at these stunning photos from Amanda’s Blue and Peach Shoot, no wonder she was featured on The Perfect Palette! Working on these amazing shoots also gives us the opportunity to work with some pretty awesome Charlotte wedding pros, which allows us to give our future brides some great vendor recommendations!

Speaking of great wedding vendors in Charlotte, our very own Amanda spent time during the year hosting the South Charlotte Wedding Pros group. Here she was able to meet with professional wedding vendors, share ideas, and build great relationships that will benefit us and our future brides! Plus, we had a blast networking at various The Knot sponsored events across the Queen City! Amanda even made the long journey to New York City to attend the Knot Gala. There she was able to meet many new people but still had time to connect with familiar faces, including Emily from The Ballantyne Hotel and Julia of Julia Fay Photography. We love the community of top wedding experts in the area and feel like we are a part of a growing family of vendors who truly want their brides to live their dream.
To cap it off Magnificent Moments Weddings was named one of Wedding Wire’s 2018 Couples Choice Award winners and The Knot’s 2018 Best of Wedding for Charlotte Wedding Planners winners for the second year in a row! We are thrilled to receive these honors and thank the wonderful brides who we worked with this year!
2017 really was a great year for us professionally and personally. Amanda took a relaxing cruise to Cuba. There she was able to take in the Cuban culture and explore the island. I sent my baby to Kindergarten, I can’t believe how big he is! And Brittini found out her and boyfriend David will be expecting their first child in July of 2018!
2017 was so of so many great memories and more importantly great people. We want to thank every couple who chose Magnificent Moments Weddings and trusted us to be a part of their big day!
