We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings love a big event, it’s what we do! During our time off though you can usually find the girls on the team hanging out with our families and keeping it mostly low key. But if we’re really lucky, we may just find time to have a date night with our significant others. So we thought it would be fun to share with you this month our top Charlotte date night spots – who knows you may just see us there!

Since we are both from the beach area, Rich and I love seafood and Sea Level is probably one of our favorite restaurants! We are super picky about the freshness of seafood – we used to be able to get it literally fresh off the boat! – but Sea Level manages to uphold our extremely high standards. They get oysters from all up and down the east coast and we love being able to try the different types. Sea Level is Uptown right near one of our favorite venues, the Foundation for the Carolinas. Our favorite thing to do is get raw oysters, but we also love their sandwiches. Their cocktails are amazing too! My current favorite is Blushing Bubbles.

My husband and I are true “foodies”, so it comes as no surprise one of our favorite weeknight shows is Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. In fact we love it so much we created a food bucket list and have made it our mission to eat at as many restaurants featured on the show as possible! Which is what led us to try out Cabo Fish Taco right here in Charlotte. We love the laid back atmosphere of the restaurant, it’s a great place to go after a crazy week to unwind. Their tacos are nothing less than amazing and when paired with a refreshing margarita you’ve got a date night to remember!

David and I don’t venture out to Charlotte from Rock Hill, SC very often, outside of work, but when we do, we love to find a new restaurant we’ve both never been to. Most recently he took me to Firebirds for the first time! I really loved their atmosphere and everything we ordered was delicious. I especially loved the Lobster Queso appetizer! We also love to go to see new movies, especially at theaters with the reclining seats–they are super comfy! And we almost always finish a date night off with a visit to Amelie’s French Bakery for our favorite macaroons and mini tarts!
