Krista and Reed married at Founder’s Hall this fall during a beautiful ceremony and reception. This fun couple met on Tinder and their love was ever-present throughout their wedding day. Family and friends truly had a blast watching this couple come together as husband and wife during an unforgettable night.
Their Jewish ceremony under held under a chuppah draped with a cloth that was very meaningful to the couple. Reed’s aunt presided over the ceremony which included touching readings from those closest to the couple. Trust me when I say this was one of the most meaningful ceremonies I have ever been a part of.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy the cocktail hour while the ceremony space was flipped into an incredible reception. The space was filled with stunning flowers and linens perfectly picked and paired by Krista, it was truly breathtaking. The reception got started with bridal party introductions after which the couple went into their first dance. Dinner and toasts followed, as well as touching dances with the couples’ respective parents. Then the dance floor kicked off with the Hava Nagila. As the music started guests flooded space lifting up the bride and groom in chairs and just having an absolute blast.
And it was after this that the night got really interesting. Myself, and my assistant Joelle, headed over to the hotel to deliver the gifts and ceremony items to the couple’s hotel room for safekeeping. We made it up to the 23rd floor and dropped off our precious cargo, but did not make it back down, that’s right we got stuck in the elevator. Talk about panic! After the initial freak out subsided, I was able to get ahold of Amanda who was working her own wedding in Uptown that very evening. She finished her wedding and headed over to perfectly orchestrate Krista and Reed’s sparkler send-off. In fact, when Amanda arrived Krista didn’t even know we had been missing, which set my heart at ease. Her wedding had gone off flawlessly, thanks to all the hard work and planning, and our team was able to pull together to avoid disaster.
Needless to say, Krista and Reed’s big day will always be one I remember not for the crisis we survived but rather that we were able to pull together as a team and make amazing things happen.
Congratulations Krista and Reed! We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings wish you many years of love and happiness!
With Love,
Shelby
