Claire and Nestor are one of the cutest couples we have met and their love was ever present on their wedding day. This fun couple met online, as most modern couples do, and we are so glad they did.
Fun was the theme for their wedding day and I think it is safe to say they delivered. After their touching ceremony at St. Gabriel’s Catholic church, the party was set to start. Guests traveled to Axe Club of America for cocktail hour. In true fun fashion guests competed in an axe-throwing competition, yes that’s right I said axe throwing. This unique twist on a traditional cocktail hour truly set the mood for a fun filled wedding. Guests were so into the competition the hour flew by, but there was even more fun waiting at the reception at Catawba Brewery.
During the reception, Claire and Nestor incorporated a traditional Mexican wedding dance. This unique dance had guests running in a line trying to knock the bride and groom of chairs, it really added a light-hearted feel to the party which was nice. Plus it helped tie in the couples Mexican heritage which is always a fun touch. The reception also including fun activities including games like giant Jenga and giant Connect Four which allowed guest to get competitive. The fun was rounded out by a sweet cotton candy bar, because who doesn’t love an indulgent treat! An interactive photo booth allowed guests to capture all the fun that will live on forever from this amazing night.
I think it is safe to say that Claire and Nestor nailed the fun theme they were going for and their guests loved it!
Congratulations Claire and Nestor! We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings wish you many years of love and happiness!
