Duke Mansion Garden Party

Bride poses with her bridesmaids wearing emerald green dresses during a garden wedding at The Duke Mansion

Danelle and Tim were married at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina with a gorgeous garden party wedding.  The wedding was a perfect reflection of the colorful nature of Danelle and Tim and all of their family and friends!

Danelle and Tim have a soft spot in their heart for all animals, but especially their dogs!  They wanted to make sure the dogs could come to the wedding, but not be intrusive.  We used Barks and Blooms to achieve this!  The dogs were brought after the ceremony for some photos and love.  You can see how much Tim and Danelle love their dogs!  They have a great dane and a chunky, sweet beagle.  I think the ringbearer actually had the most fun with the dogs!

Danelle and her Mom worked on so many of the elements you see in the wedding – like they literally DIY’d it themselves!  Her Mom even made the A-frame donut stand.  I was very impressed with her handy work.  Danelle wanted a garden feel to her wedding.  It was outside (thank you no rain!) and the dinner was under the market lights.  It was a gorgeous night!  Danelle had a few flowers added to her hair to show off a little bit of her boho-side.  And her shoes were to die for!  You all know by now how much I love shoes.  Hers did not disappoint!  Danelle and her Mom MADE the paper crane backdrop.  It was a labor of love and in honor of one of their close friends who has passed away.  I recently saw something about treatments and how the patients are given paper cranes.  The backdrop was STUNNING!  I mean even more beautiful in person.
