Amy and Breen were married at St. Matthew Catholic Church with an elegant and classic reception at the Club at Longview. They chose navy for Breen and maroon for Amy as their wedding colors, along with gold accents. Amy’s parents are members of the Club, so they decided to host their wedding there. I love working with the staff, and the food is amazing!
Amy is gluten-free, so we made sure to take that into consideration when coming up with a menu. Amy and Breen love “fun foods” like tacos, bar-b-que, and burgers, so we decided to have a station dedicated to those types of foods! It was a huge hit! Everyone loved the tater tots, one of Amy’s favorite foods. I’m so glad they went with foods they personally love.
Amy and Breen were literally on the dance floor the entire night! Which is a great thing! They were having a great time with all of their friends and family, mostly in town from Ohio. Amy and Breen attended the University of Miami in Ohio, and that is where they met, so they are considered Miami Mergers. Amy and Breen got a puppy during our planning process named Frankie! While this is Breen’ first dog, obsessed is an understatement when describing his love for Frankie. Amy surprised Breen with a Frankie replica doggie cake for his groom’s cake at their rehearsal dinner. Their favors were personalized candles, as Breen really loves candles. Everyone seemed to be having a great time during the night!
I worked with Amy’s mother on the welcome bags, and she is just the nicest, sweetest woman. I am so thankful to have been able to work with Amy and Breen and their families on their special day!
Amy and Breen, I can’t wait to see you again soon!
