We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings get to work with some pretty amazing couples and we love nothing more than helping them make their wedding dreams come true.  So it is time again to shine our client spotlight another amazing bride! We want to share how awesome they are with you and give them the opportunity to relive their special day! So this month we reached out to Madison Boles and asked her to share her greatest memories of her Mint Museum Uptown wedding and any tips she may have for soon to be brides!

Madison and her husband Nich were married at the Mint Museum Uptown during such a fun event.    Their summer wedding had a party vibe and guests loved getting to share in the fun on the dance floor (Want to know all the details about Madison’s big day?  Check out her real wedding feature on the blog here!). Since Madison was such a great bride to work with, we wanted to sit down and ask her all about her experience, from the highs to the lows, and here’s what she shared.

What was your greatest memory of your day?

The greatest memory of the day was actually at the reception. My mother in law got the band to play one of Nich and I’s favorite songs, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and they had everyone get out of their seat and surround us on the dance floor. Being able to stand next to my new husband and look around at all of the faces of everyone we love and care about was simply amazing.

Do you have any advice for brides still in the planning process?

JUST DO IT! We all spend time worrying about every little detail, how people will remember our special day, ways we can be different, etc. A lot of times, we get stuck in our own heads and forget to just enjoy it. Want a photobooth? Look it up and do it! Want to eat dinner with your husband separate from everyone else? Do it! Don’t worry about how you or the day is portrayed, just do what makes you happy.

Is there anything you would change about your wedding day?

Absolutely not!

Why did you choose MMW?

I found them online, and had a quick consultation with Amanda. She was so interested in us as a couple, and not so much about the logistics of the day on that call, and it really meant a lot to us. She told us we would be working with Shelby, and I could not have asked for a better planner! She really listened to what I wanted for our day, and actually followed through. I trusted her completely to carry out the day exactly how we had envisioned it. Our wedding day was PERFECT because of her.

Would you recommend hiring a wedding coordinator/planner to other brides?

YES! YES! YES! A hundred times YES! I worked with a wedding planner when I was in college and have been on the venue side of things since. To me, it is absolutely crucial. As the brides, we work hard for a long time leading up to the wedding. All that hard work can be put on someone else for one day! You don’t want to have to worry about what time flowers are getting delivered or the photobooth is being set up. This day already flies by, you don’t want to spend it stressing about little details! Let me tell you, Shelby is the QUEEN of details, and she didn’t call me once for questions on our special day. I really got to spend it with family and friends and just enjoy my day.
