Claire and Chris are an amazing couple who married at the Betchler Museum this past fall. Their wedding was an artistic event. That was the goal of the couple, I mean they did choose to get married in an art museum, after all. So instead of bringing in a lot of decor, they instead let the art take center stage, which I think the guests really enjoyed.
Their ceremony took place on the 3rd floor of the museum right in the middle of the art. A close friend of the bride and groom presided over the ceremony which was short and oh so sweet. Claire had been a bridesmaid for 14 of her friends’ weddings, so she decided not to have a bridal party at all, which made it all the more intimate.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the main floor of the museum for the reception. At one notable point in the night, a surprise Elvis impersonator made an appearance who was hired by the groom. Chris insisted I didn’t tell Claire about it, so I kept my lips sealed. Claire was so surprised and overall Elvis was a big hit! Everyone loved it. Another great hit of the night was the band, Ike and Martin. Chris is a longtime friend of the players in the band and they really showed up for him. The dance floor stayed packed throughout the night and the band was asked for several encores.
The amazing night ended as the couple left through a sea of streamer poppers. This fun send-off created the most amazing atmosphere and guests cheered on the couple as they left to start their lives together as husband and wife.
Congratulations Claire and Chris! We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings wish you many years of love and happiness!
