Carolina and Tim were married in at Christ Lutheran Church with an elegant reception at the Charlotte City Club. Carolina and Tim met online while they were living in Dallas, Texas, and according to the toast at the wedding, Carolina’s Mom paid her doorman to find out Tim’s license plate number so Carolina’s brother could run a background check. Talk about intimidating! I hope Tim did not know this!
They moved to Charlotte and got engaged. Carolina and I hit it off right away – we just clicked. She decided to use white, greenery, gray, and matte gold as her colors. She likes neutral tones and is a very classic and traditional bride. Since Carolina was so new to Charlotte, I was included going dress shopping with her! It was so much fun and she found her dress that day at the one store! You know I like someone who can make a decision! I was even the dog sitter during the engagement photos for Henry, their Great Dane. He is a HUGE sweetheart! Henry is a very good dog and I can see why Carolina is smitten with him ?
The love Carolina and Tim showed throughout the times I met with them was evident at every turn. They each wanted to hear the other’s opinion before sharing their own! We had so much fun working on their design from the beginning and bringing all the elements together. I even had a late-night thought, that I thankfully recorded on my phone, to have rock candy favors as a way to show how they were engaged while skiing. Carolina and Tim had their own family crest made, with a little background history on their names. I think it turned out great and is exactly what they wanted!
Carolina and Tim showed off their new city to their friends and family over the long weekend and had a great time going to a baseball game, a brewery, the rehearsal dinner, complete with a groom’s cake custom to Tim, and the finale of the wedding.
Carolina and Tim, you know I love you both!
