Jackie and Bob were married at Dilworth United Methodist Church and had a gorgeous reception at Carmel Country Club. Jackie did not want a traditional wedding, so she opted to rent a clear top tent and I could not have been prouder of how this design turned out! The tent was truly amazing, and that is not something people usually say about tents!
Jackie and Bob met in college at Southern Wesleyan in South Carolina. Jackie played soccer there and she and Bob have been together ever since, even with a move to New York City! We used rose gold, gold, wine, and greenery as the colors for the wedding, with touches of naturalistic wood elements and candles. Lots and lots of candles. We actually came up with a signature wedding scent because Jackie’s sister makes candles. We scattered these candles throughout the reception and then had fresh ones as favors for guests. We also played off of the wine color with wine corks assisting in the table assignments. For table numbers, Jackie and Bob came up with places meaningful to them, such as the Asheville, where he proposed.
Jackie and Bob were surrounded by great friends all night and it truly was magical. Jackie loves on her people hard, even giving all of her bridesmaid personalized gold bracelets with words describing them when she asked them to be bridesmaids. Jackie’s family is from Alabama and Bob’s is from Charlotte, so it was fun seeing everyone come together. Bob’s family is so sweet, and I enjoyed getting to know them.
Jackie and Bob, I can’t wait to see you again soon!
