Blue White Wedding Inspiration

The February day was freezing, but the blue and white china with the pops of pink in the peonies made it worth it!  I have always loved classic antique pieces and as a charlotte wedding planner and designer, I wanted to show how your Grandmother’s china, if it is a piece you absolutely love, can be incorporated into the design of your wedding.

Really and truly, anything that you love or that speaks to you can be an element in your wedding design.  This can be a piece of china, like this shoot, or a painting or even a movie.  As long as you are being true to what you love, you can incorporate elements of it into your wedding design in a classic way that will be timeless and a true reflection of who you are.  It will also help to make sure your wedding is unique to who you are and who you are together as a couple.

The original inspiration came directly from the blue and white plates, so I decided to keep the color palette in the deep blues and whites, with pops of pink.  I love peonies (who doesn’t?) and pink and blue are classic colors that go very well together.  Couples with the gorgeous and always timeless Separk Mansion, the theme of elegance truly shows.  I love the blue and white dress, adding the extra theme into clothing in the bridesmaid dress.
