Stacy and Jeremy were married at the Ballantyne Hotel over Labor Day weekend. Y’all, they were my first Jewish wedding and I feel like I received a crash course! Jeremy’s father is a Rabbi and he was presiding over the wedding. Stacy and Jeremy were so incredibly patient with me as I asked all kinds of questions about the traditions involved in the ceremony and the reception. Since Jeremy’s Father is a Rabbi, they were doing all of the traditions! I am now ready for any Jewish wedding!
Stacy and Jeremy had a beautiful Ketubah that is a work of art in itself. Jeremy was having fun getting ready with his guys and putting on his tux. Stacy had the suite upstairs and was happy all morning! Her dress was beautiful. I even overheard the front desk ladies saying how they see brides all the time at the hotel, but Stacy’s dress was the only dress they have liked! Quite a compliment!
During the reception when the 7 blessings were read, the bread that was broken was made by the Mother of the Groom with funfetti! Stacy has a huge sweet tooth and her mother-in-law thought this would be a fun way to show it off to their guests. The cookie favors flown in from William Greenberg Desserts in NYC were the BEST cookies I have probably ever eaten. I mean, seriously, they were that good. I hope all the guests had one!
Stacy and Jeremy traveled down from NYC to get married here in Charlotte, NC. Stacy’s mother actually lives very close to me and she is the sweetest woman!
I loved getting to know this couple and their families!

Amanda
