Perrin and Taylor decided to get married at the Levine Museum of the New South in Uptown Charlotte on April Fool’s Day! They met at a bookstore and have the cutest dog named Poppyseed!

Perrin went to Queens University and Taylor went to the College of Charleston. They like to go to breweries and travel on weekend trips. Perrin studied and works as a music therapist, which is a very demanding but rewarding job, and Taylor is in Marketing.

It was a gorgeous April day and Perrin kept her colors classic using navy and gold, and touches of blush in the flowers, with lots of candlelight throughout her venue. The ceremony was at Little Church on the Lane, which is the cutest little chapel here in Charlotte. Perrin put her sorority pin on her bouquet, per their tradition, and her bridesmaids, who were her sorority sisters loved it! Perrin decided she wanted someone to help make sure everything was running smoothly so she and her Mom could enjoy the day! Perrin lost her Dad a while ago and Taylor lost his Mother, so they decided in lieu of favors, to donate to causes near and dear to their hearts. I absolutely love this and actually donated the favors for my wedding (back in the day!) too. Plus, I truly believe in philanthropy, so I am always supportive of this endeavor!

At the reception, Perrin and Taylor had a whole wall of pictures from their childhood and it was so fun for even me to look at! I love seeing pictures of people, especially the awkward middle school years 🙂 Perrin and Taylor had the best menu for the reception – breakfast food! It was absolutely delicious and I love that they were true to themselves because they love breakfast food! The food was such a hit with the guests, I had to guard the dessert spread for the photographer to make sure she could get photos! Those guests were ready to dig in 🙂 The reception was great and Perrin and her sorority sisters were all over the dance floor and everyone had a great time!
