Alex and Brian are an amazing couple who married at St Peter’s Catholic Church in Uptown Charlotte and celebrated during a fun reception at The Mint Museum this past fall. This sweet couple are college sweethearts who came together with family for a wedding that was truly one to remember.

The couple’s ceremony was a traditional Catholic Mass in the stunning cathedral of St Peter’s. Alex wore a stunningly simple dress that was nothing short of gorgeous. Brian was truly speechless during their sweet first look at The Green Park. After the ceremony guests made their way across the street to The Mint to enjoy cocktails and get the party started. Fun signature cocktails were the perfect drinks to set the mood for the event. Alex and Brian had a great time chatting with guests during this fun hour and lead the way into the reception that followed.
Alex’s eye for design was clear in her beautiful reception choices. Simple white linens, lush greenery and ample candlelight created a timeless look that truly wowed guests. The sweet couple shared the first dance as the reception began and some touching words for the bride’s father welcomed guests. After dinner, the dance floor opened and guests truly had a blast. A late-night popcorn treat, a favorite of the groom, kept guests full and the fun mix of old school and newer songs was a great hit. I don’t think I have ever seen so many guests dancing at once!
The night ended with a glow stick send off and Alex and Brian made their way down the stunning stairs of The Mint, to start their lives together as husband and wife!
