Melissa and Caleb are a fun California couple who said I do this past summer in the Queen City. This sweet couple met in college and decided Charlotte would be the perfect spot for their wedding day and we are so glad they did! Melissa was so great to work with and will always be one of my favorite brides. We bonded over our love of Google Docs which made my Type A personality sing! I was so sad to see her wedding come to an end but so happy to have been a part of her perfect day!
The couples exchanged vows in the Atrium of the Mint Museum Uptown. Family and friends gathered for a ceremony that was filled with love and so many sweet touches. Melissa and Caleb chose to have their grandparents serve as the flower girls and ring bearer and it was so touching to watch them walk down the aisle. Melissa’s dress was nothing less than stunning and Caleb’s reaction to her walking down the aisle is a memory I am sure the couple will cherish forever!
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the front terrace of The Mint. It was a taste of Charlotte week in uptown, so guests got a feel for all the city had to offer, which was so cool. Following cocktail hour guests were moved upstairs for the reception. Melissa picked out the most beautiful linens I have ever seen and every detail was simply perfect. The couple enjoyed being toasted by their closest family and friends and sweet dances with their parents that left the entire room shedding tears. When the formalities ended and the dance floor opened, it stayed packed. Making it the true dance party Caleb and Melissa hoped it would be.
The night ended with a fun bubble send-off despite the rain. Melissa and Caleb left through bubbles to a waiting Peddi Cab that whisked them away as husband a wife!
Congratulations Melissa and Caleb! We here at Magnificent Moments Weddings wish you many many years of happiness!
Happy Planning!
