Elizabeth and Bryan were married at the Ivy Place in Lancaster, South Carolina by Elizabeth’s step-mother, Peggy. Their garden wedding was beautiful and truly a family affair. Peggy even broke down a little at the end of her officiating and it was so sweet to see how much she cares for Elizabeth and Bryan.
Elizabeth and Bryan met in Charlottesville. She is an attorney and he is a pilot and they love to travel! While we were planning the wedding, they even went to the Galapagos Islands! Elizabeth wanted an elegant, but understated wedding and that is exactly what she got!
Elizabeth’s aunt did the flowers and knocked it out of the park! They were stunning and the perfect way to incorporate the purple feel. The custom napkins added the color and the rest was kept neutral. Elizabeth looked beautiful in her dress and Elizabeth and Bryan were both very relaxed after their first look! If you are a couple that calms each other down, I highly suggest doing a first look! Your nerves will be better for it.
Elizabeth and Bryan chose The Ivy Place because it is just stunning with the gardens everywhere, perfectly fitting for a garden wedding. The day was warm, but it felt great under the tent. The flowers were all in bloom from all of the rain the month before, but there was not a drop in the sky on their wedding day!
Their friends and family had such a great time and packed the dance floor all night! The signature cocktail for Elizabeth was a margarita and the guest loved it!
