A Davidson Affair
Brent and Virginia both went to Davidson for college. Brent claims they met during college, but Virginia either doesn’t remember or didn’t want to :). They reconnected through some mutual friends a few years after graduation and have been together ever since! Virginia is a very loving person and she is fiercely loyal to all those she chooses to be in her life. This was very evident from the amount of love shown to and from her guests throughout the night. And she is also hilarious! I saw a lot of inside jokes that night, evidence of her shenanigans throughout her schooling and career.
Virginia wanted to get married in North Carolina and decided on Beaver Dam in Davidson because she loves the area and has since she was in college. I honestly think she would move to live on Lake Norman if she could find a job that made her happy here! Although I personally think she is living in a close second in Washington, D.C.
She wanted soft, neutral colors so we stuck to a color palette of gray, white, and black, with a pop of thistle in her centerpieces and lots of greenery throughout. We also incorporated dusty looking succulents into her centerpieces and her bouquet. Everything looked amazing, including her tent! She had a smores fire going and the favors were the ingredients for the smores. It was a perfect night for them too! Her wedding was so much fun and I have so many stories from that night #sherrillwholikesdarkmusic
Virginia and Brent, all my love.
XOXO,
Amanda
